The main objective of the application was to keep records of extensive employee information, track employee login and logout, manage employee shifts, break between shifts, manage multiple shifts, generation of employee payroll. The application should also be able to generate various MIS reports at various levels to track the performance of an employee. Major challenge during the design of this system was to develop a subsystem for the secure and prompt authentication of employee during login and logout transactions. Integration with authentication devices was also required.

Platform:

Developed in the Microsoft® Dot Net Platform using Microsoft® SQL as the database and Crystal Reports 9 as reporting tools. Microsoft® Visual Studio™ .NET and Microsoft® Visual Basic™ was used as the development tool and Gapsco Power Foundation was used as the development methodology.
