Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd. and Gapsco have signed an agreement to deploy Gapsco Premium One Software. The deployment will enable insurance business process automation throughout all branches and organizational units within Alliance. [ January 2010 ]

Alliance Insurance Company Limited was founded in 1996 by group of expertise in the field of inurance. This insurance company has emerged as a renowned second generation general insurance company of Nepal. The core business of the company is non-life insurance, re-insurance and broking in the sub-continent region.

Recently Gapsco celebrated the fourth anniversary of Gapsco Website Statistical Analysis Report popularly known as WeSA on 1st January 2010. Gapsco had initiated this service to keep it’s clients well informed about their website statistics and to aid in formulating plans, policies and strategies related totheir website, brand and corporate image. WeSA report has proven to be a successful and fruitful featured service as many of our clients have truly benefited from it. According to the Managing Director Mr. Gautam Shrestha the past four years of WeSA has been an awesome experience for Gapsco to clients being able to develop and implement service and brand positioning techniques both on and off the web. Days before the final release of Windows 7 engineers at Gapsco had been working hard on Windows 7 application compatibility test for Gapsco Premium One. Premium one was tested on a fresh Windows 7 Installation as well as on a upgrade installation from Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Compatibility Test engineers at Gapsco quoted as saying “the real compatibility challenge was with Windows Vista, during which a extensive modifications had to be made across various modules for compatibility with Windows Vista”. Windows Vista had numerous compatibility issues and most vendors were unable to support Windows Vista.

Gapsco Premium One passed the Windows Vista compatibility test earlier during March 2007. This was significant for the smooth running of Premium One on Windows 7 with very few minor modifications. [ December 2009 ]

The Order Management Application allows the manufacturing company to manage and process the orders placed by various distributors located all over the country. The order details are stored and processed further to generate and upload various reports that are mailed by the customer support team to the distributors to provide information on the amount of stock they need to maintain.

Gapsco signed an agreement with Unilever to provide support, maintenance, upgrade and hosting of OMS application. This system is based on PHP and MySQL. [ December 2009 ]

Underwriting modules of Gapsco Premium One insurance software has been successfully deployed in Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) along with formal training to respective department.

The agreement was signed between Gapsco and RBS on September 2009 under National Competitive Bidding 4/065/66. [ October 2009 ]

After successful development of Gapsco autoDynamics for PR Traders & Supplier, Gapsco provides 3 days training for PR staffs and also deployed software in PR Kathmandu. autoDynamics is complete software package for automobile distributor and dealership companies. Key Modules in autoDynamics are Marketing, Vehicle Sales, Spare Parts Sales, Stock & Inventory, Service Centre & Workshop, Finance, Log In Log Out System and CRM. The system was developed in Microsoft® .NET, MS-SQL Server as the database and Crystal Report 9 as a reporting tool. [ October 2009 ]

Gapsco bags award from Rastriya Beema Sansthan to supply, delivery, installation, customization, implementation and support of General Business Integrated Insurance Software (GBIS) under National Competitive Bidding (IFB No: NCB 4/065/66) on September 2009.

Government of Nepal established Rastriya Beema Sansthan, 37 years ago as a pioneer professional Insurance Company to contribute toward economic development of the nation by doing non-life and life insurance business. Mobilization of internal resources and capital, production of professional, efficient insurance personnel, curbing outflow of foreign currency were the main objectives of GON at that time. Gapsco International and Sajha Prakashan have entered into an agreement to develop UNICODE based Integrated Marketing, Stock Inventory Management and Accounting Software. The software is based on Visual C#.Net and MS-SQL Server. The agreement involves the deployment of software in its Head Office and branch offices. [ August 2009 ]
