Content management system (CMS) is system for the creation, modification, archiving, publishing and removal of information resources from an organized repository. It Includes tools for web publishing, format management, revision control, indexing, search and retrieval of contents. In the context of a Web site, CMS is a collection of tools designed to allow the creation, modification organization and removal of information from a Web site. It is common for a CMS to require users to have no knowledge of HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) in order to create new Web pages. Often having a browser based interface which allows users log in and update their website online. The content is usually stored in a database and the HTML is created dynamically on request.
